Accel and Stellaris Venture Partners, a venture capital firm, led a $10m Series A round in Material Depot, an interior design and home decor startup, with participation from Whiteboard Capital, DeVC, Soma Capital, MyAsiaVC, Ramakant Sharma, Ankit Nagori, Shashvat Nakrani, Niraj Singh, and Abhishek Goyal. “Today, customers are totally dependent on designers. Even when they discover ideas online, they don't know whether those materials are actually available because the market is highly fragmented. That is the opportunity Material Depot is addressing. In our estimate, this is a roughly $14 billion market,” Rahul Chowdhri, Stellaris Venture Partners Partner.
