Berry Plastic Group acquired AVINTIV from Blackstone Group for $2.4bn.

Berry Plastic Group, a Fortune 500 global manufacturer and marketer of plastic packaging products, acquired AVINTIV, one of the world’s leading developers, producers, and marketers of specialty materials, from Blackstone Group for $2.4bn.
