Celulosa Arauco y Constitución acquired a 50% stake in Tableros de Fibras from Sonae Indústria.

Celulosa Arauco y Constitución acquired a 50% stake in Tableros de Fibras, which manufactures wood, fiber and melamine panels, from Sonae Indústria, for $150m. The agreement excludes Sonae Indústria’s operations in North America and the laminates and components business, which will continue to be fully owned by Sonae Indústria.
