Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, completed the acquisition of ASCO Power Technologies, an electrical equipment firm, from Platinum Equity, a private equity firm, for $1.25bn. The acquisition enhances Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Power Platform in key markets and segments.
