Jefferson Health to merge with Einstein Healthcare Network in a $599m deal.

Jefferson Health, a multi-state non-profit health system, agreed to merge with Einstein Healthcare Network, a private non-profit healthcare organization based in Philadelphia, in a $599m deal. "This is a critical step forward for the students and patients of both institutions and equally as important for our community as a whole. Our joint planning in recent months has reinforced how much Jefferson and Einstein share the values dedicated to re-imagining the future of health, education and discovery. On December 9, 2020, a federal judge dismissed FTC's bid to temporarily block Jefferson’s acquisition of the Einstein Healthcare Network.
