BB&T Insurance Holdings completed the acquisition of Regions Insurance Group from Regions Financial.

BB&T Insurance Holdings, an insurance brokerage firm, completed the acquisition of Regions Insurance Group, an insurance brokerage firm, from Regions Financial, a US bank holding company, operating as Regions Bank. Financial terms were not disclosed. “This transaction supports our efforts to streamline our company and focus on businesses where we can add the most value for our clients, associates and shareholders. This sale demonstrates our ongoing strategic planning and capital allocation process in action and aligns with our Simplify and Grow strategic priority,” Grayson Hall, Regions Financial Chairman and CEO.
