Bilgin Enerji completed the acquisition of OMV Samsun Elektrik Uretim.

Bilgin Enerji Yatirim, a holding company, which develops, constructs, and invests in hydroelectric and wind energy power plants, completed the acquisition of OMV Samsun Elektrik Uretim, a natural gas company, from OMV, an Austrian multinational integrated oil and gas company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The purchase of OMV's Samsun facility would help the company raise its installed total capacity to 1,760MW as part of the company's aim to increase both the company's renewable energy portfolio and market share," Tolga Bilgin, Bilgin Enerji Executive President.
