Cabcharge Australia to acquire MTI for $6.6m.

Cabcharge Australia, an account payment system, agreed to acquire Mobile Technologies International, which powers the processing and dispatch systems used by most of the taxi companies in Australia, for $6.6m. The acquisition requires approval from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission because the business runs the core part of the dispatch system used by many rival taxi groups.
