SmartBear acquired Zephyr from Frontier Capital

SmartBear Software, the leader in software quality tools for teams, acquired Zephyr, a San Jose-based software company, from Frontier Capital, a Charlotte-based growth equity firm focused exclusively on software and technology-enabled business services companies. Financial terms were not disclosed. SmartBear will continue to extend and deepen the Zephyr product line and strengthen its relationship with Atlassian by leveraging SmartBear tools to bring more value to the users of the Atlassian Marketplace.
