Sunbelt Rentals to acquire Ashtead Group for £161m.

Sunbelt Rentals, the US-based equipment rental company and a subsidiary of Ashtead Group, has acquired Interstate Aerials, a US-based aerial work platform rental services provider, for £161m. Interstate Aerials is one of the largest independently operated aerial equipment rental companies on the East Coast, and works with refineries, power plants, structural steel contractors, general contractors and mechanical contractors.
