Lactalis Group to acquire Aspen Pharmacare for £659m.

Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Limited has concluded an agreement to divest of its global Nutritional Business to the Lactalis Group. Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Limited, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and supplies branded, OTC, and generic pharmaceutical products, infant nutritionals, and consumer healthcare products. Stephen Saad, Aspen Group Chief Executive said, “We are pleased to announce that an agreement has been signed to divest of our Nutritionals Business to French-based Lactalis Group, a leading multinational dairy corporation, for €740m. The disposal is in line with our strategic intention to focus our attention on our core pharmaceutical business."
