Carl Icahn, a private investor, acquired 8.3% of Dell Inc. tracking stock, information technology products developer for $21.7bn. Icahn previously owned 1.2% in Dell tracking stock, and the latest stake would make him the second largest shareholder in the Dell tracking stock.
