Infracapital, the infrastructure equity investment arm of M&G Prudential, completed the acquisition of Energetics from Macquarie and other shareholders. Financial terms were not disclosed. Energetics works with the UK's largest housebuilders, construction firms and independent consulting companies to design, build, own and operate ‘last mile’ gas and electricity connections to new residential and commercial developments across the UK. “Energetics represents a rare opportunity to invest in a sizeable essential multi-utility business in the UK, underpinned by a supportive regime and favourable market dynamics.
