Energinet acquired HMN GasNet for £220m.

Energinet, the Danish national transmission system operator for electricity and natural gas, acquired HMN GasNet, an energy supplier in Viborg, Denmark, for £220m. "With the deal, we welcome HMN and the many talented employees in Energinet. All the major Danish gas distribution companies are now unified, and a major step has been taken towards fulfilling the government's desire for a single state-owned company," says Lars Barfoed, chairman of the board of Energinet.
