Pumpenfabrik Wangen, a portfolio company of Silverfleet Capital, acquired Progressing Cavity Pumps business unit of Knoll Maschinenbau, a Germany-based manufacturer of conveyors and filtering systems for chips and cooling lubricants. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are adding the leading hygienic progressing cavity pump to our strong hygienic twin screw pump range, offering customers in future a considerably wider range from a single supplier,” explains Markus Hofheinz, Managing Director of Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH. The aim of both parties is to ensure the seamless transfer of operations scheduled for the first quarter of 2019 – the products and services will naturally continue to be uninterruptedly available during this period.
