Ginkgo Bioworks acquired the genome mining business of Warp Drive Bio.

Sale by Warp Drive Bio, a biotechnology company and subsidiary of Revolution Medicines, of its genome mining business to Ginkgo Bioworks, a biotech company founded in 2009 by scientists from MIT headed by Tom Knight. Financial terms were not disclosed.
