New Forests acquired Hikurangi Forest Farms from Samling Group for NZ$630m.

Synopsis

New Forests, a real estate investment firm, acquired Hikurangi Forest Farms, which owns and manages forests in New Zealand, from Samling Group, a Malaysia-based diversified conglomerate, for NZ$630m. "The HFF acquisition secures a cornerstone asset for New Forests’ Australia New Zealand Forest Fund 3, complementing the fund’s existing New Zealand forestry portfolio in the North and South Island," New Forests’ CEO David Brand said.
