Sonco Gaming completed the acquisition of Maxims Casino Club from Genting Malaysia for £35m.

Sonco Gaming, a company engaged in the ownership, operation, and development of gaming properties, acquired Maxims Casino Club, an exclusive casino in Kensington, a borough of London, from Genting Malaysia, one of the top companies in Malaysia that own and operates Malaysia's premier tourist resorts, for £35m. Selling the property will help Genting to reduce some of its debt. It will also open up opportunities to seek out new investment opportunities and the company expects to walk away with around $30m after all fees are covered. “The proceeds from the disposal are intended to reduce Genting UK group’s borrowings, and for other potential investment opportunities,” Genting.
