Hafslund E-CO completed the merger with Eidsiva Energi in a $3.3bn deal.

Eidsiva Energi, a provider of energy services, and Hafslund E-CO, a company that generates, distributes, and sells electricity, completed the merger in a $3.3bn deal. Eidsiva Energi owns 100% of the Hafslund Nett shares, which together with Eidsiva Nett forms a new grid company. Hafslund E-CO has a significant ownership in the grid business through its 50% stake in Eidsiva Energi.
