Private equity firm General Atlantic acquired a 70% stake in Rubicon Research, a contract research and a drug delivery company located in Mumbai, from Everstone, a private equity and real estate investment firm focusing on India and Southeast Asia. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition would mark General Atlantic's renewed focus on pharma, the buyout major having backed Jubilant Lifesciences in the past.
