OYO Hotels & Home to acquire @Leisure from Axel Springer for $201m.

OYO Hotels & Home, an international chain of hotels and holiday homes, agreed to acquire @Leisure, an operator of online portals for vacation rentals, from Axel Springer, a European digital publishing house, for $201m (including the repayment of a shareholder loan of around $73m). "Over the past four years, @Leisure has become one of the leading providers in the European holiday home rental market. With OYO Hotels & Homes, one of the fastest-growing hospitality companies in the world, we have now found a new owner who fits in very well with us and our next development phase,” Tobias Wann, @Leisure CEO.
