TE Connectivity, a global industrial technology company, acquired Alpha Technics, producer of precision temperature measurement solutions, from Gen Cap America, a private equity firm focused on lower middle market buyouts. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This transaction further establishes TE as a sensor technology leader for the medical market. Our existing sensor product offering, coupled with Alpha Technics' reputation and solutions, positions TE with a broad range of innovative, proven products and technologies to serve this demanding, high-growth space.
