Synopsis
Private equity firm KPS Capital Partners to acquire the fitness business of Brunswick, an American corporation that has been active in developing, manufacturing and marketing a wide variety of products since 1845, for $490m. The acquired business manufactures and sells its strength and cardiovascular equipment and billiards tables and accessories under the brand names Life Fitness, Hammer Strength, Cybex, Indoor Cycling Group, SCIFIT, and Brunswick Billiards.
