Brewin Dolphin, an investment management and financial planning firm, completed the acquisition of Investec's Irish wealth business for €44m ($49m) in cash. Brewin Dolphin will look to raise £60m ($78m) in a share placing to help fund the deal and bolster its capital position after a string of other acquisitions over the last 12 months.
