DIF Infrastructure completed the acquisition of BluEarth Renewables from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.

DIF Infrastructure, an independent infrastructure fund, completed its acquisition of BluEarth Renewables, power producer that acquires, develops, builds, owns and operates wind, hydro and solar facilities across North America, from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Financial terms were not disclosed. “With the support of Ontario Teachers’ as a founding shareholder, BluEarth grew quickly to become a mature, integrated platform. Now, with the backing and governance of DIF V, we are excited to grow our platform even further, including pursuing additional opportunities in the U.S. and Canada,” Grant Arnold, BluEarth President, and Chief Executive Officer.
