EP Logistics International, a Czech wholly-owned subsidiary of Energeticky a Prumyslovy Holding, agreed to acquire the German rail carrier LOCON Logistik & Consulting. The transaction will be closed upon the approval of the appropriate antimonopoly authorities. EP Logistics International will make through this acquisition another important step in its strategy of developing and strengthening the East-West transport corridor Financial terms were not disclosed. "In this way, we will be able to offer our existing and future business partners a broad portfolio of services, based on the experience of the successful railway undertaking Locon Logistik & Consulting and the strong international group EP Logistics International," said Zbigniew Klepacki, CEO of EP Logistics International.
