CorpBanca, the fourth largest commercial bank in Chile, acquired Santiago-based Munita Cruzat and Claro from Itau. Financial terms were not disclosed. The move allows the consolidation of Itaú's private banking in Chile, increasing the bank's offer in international investment possibilities for the market.
