Pernod Ricard acquired a majority stake in Inverroche Distillery.

Pernod Ricard, a French company that produces alcoholic beverages, acquired a majority stake in Inverroche Distillery, a South African spirits producer. Financial terms were not disclosed. Pernod Ricard said the deal increases the firm’s presence in the “dynamic sub-Saharan Africa spirits market, where gin growth is accelerating exponentially”.
