Ford acquires Quantum Signal.

Ford Motor Company, car manufacturer​ company acquires Quantum Signal, a company focused on mobile robotics, modeling, ​and simulation. Financial terms were not disclosed. Ford will use Quantum Signal's simulation​ and algorithm development know-how for its autonomous vehicle ambitions. The wide range of the group’s work portfolio means it will be able to support Ford in numerous areas as the company develops self-driving vehicles and transportation as a service business, including software development and hardware prototyping.
