Actis Capital acquires BioTherm Energy from Denham Capital.

Actis Capital, an emerging market investor, agreed to acquire BioTherm Energy, an Independent Power Producer in Africa, from Denham Capital, an energy and resources private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are delighted to be making this investment in the BioTherm team to help drive the 300GW of potential growth in renewable generation across Africa over the next ten years," Lisa Pinsley, Actis Director.
