Amazon completed the acquisition of a 49% stake in Future Coupons, a payment products and solutions company, from Future Group, an Indian conglomerate, for $200m. On December 16, 2021, India's antitrust agency suspended the deal, citing Amazon suppressed information when buying stake. It also imposed a $27m penalty.
