InfraVia Capital Partners to acquire a 51% stake in Free from Iliad for €600m.

InfraVia Capital Partners, an independent investment company specialized in the infrastructure sector, agreed to acquire a 51% stake in Free, a French telecommunications company, subsidiary of Iliad that provides voice, video, data, and Internet telecommunications to consumers in France, for €600m. "The French market is characterized by high demand for fiber across the whole country. Our partnership with InfraVia is an excellent way of accelerating our rollouts so that Free can offer the best speeds to 26m households as soon as possible, in line with the objectives of our Odyssey plan."
