Rambus, a silicon IP and chip provider, completed acquisition of Silicon IP and Secure Protocols business of Verimatrix, a content security company, for $45m at closing, and up to an additional $20m, subject to certain revenue targets for the transferred business for 2020. “This acquisition is a natural fit for the company in line with our areas of focus in semiconductor.
