Amazon to acquire Health Navigator.

Amazon agreed to acquire Health Navigator, which provides technology and services to digital health companies. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition is a part of Amazon's new employee offering, Amazon Care, where employees of the e-commerce giant will be able to receive fast-paced access to healthcare facilities without having to make appointments. “The service eliminates travel and wait time, connecting employees and their family members to a physician or nurse practitioner through live chat or video, with the option for in-person follow up services from a registered nurse ranging from immunizations to instant strep throat detection,” Amazon Spokesperson.
