Synopsis

Texas A&M University, a public research university is set to acquire a 12.5% stake in Volition Veterinary Diagnostics Development, a life science firm developing easy-to-use, cost-effective blood tests. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences is excited to be working with Volition to develop tests for the early detection of cancer and other diseases in animals," Eleanor M. Green, Texas A&M Veterinary Medicine Dean.
