China Unionpay to acquire a 20% stake in Smartro from BCcard for $33m.

China Unionpay, a company operating bank trading systems, agreed to acquire a 20% stake in Smartro, a provider of computer programming services, from BCcard, a provider of credit and financing services, for $33m. The investment would help BCcard upgrade its payment platform with China UMS's digital payment service technology.
