SoftBank and T. Rowe led a $1bn investment round in PayTM.

SoftBank and T. Rowe led a $1bn investment round in PayTM, an Indian digital payments company. The investment values the parent company, One97 Communications, at $16bn. The company will expand into insurance, lending and investments and invest $1.4bn over the next three years to include more users in the country.
