Council of the City of Wakefield terminated the deal to acquire Findel Education from Studio Retail Group for $66m.

The Council of the City of Wakefield terminated the deal to acquire Findel Education, a UK-based educational resources supplier, from Studio Retail Group, the online value retail and education business, for £50m ($66m). The deal was abandoned after Competition and Markets Authority said a deal would result in schools having “higher prices or reduced service”.
