Akfen Yenilenebilir completed the acquisition of Zorlu Ruzgar Enerjisi Elektrik Uretimi for £81m.

Akfen Yenilenebilir, a renewable energy company, completed the acquisition of Zorlu Ruzgar Enerjisi Elektrik Uretimi, a wind power firm, from Zorlu Enerji, a Turkish power producer, for £81m ($110m). Thanks to the acquisition, Akfen Yenilenebilir will approach its targeted total installed capacity of 712 MW. Zorlu Enerji stated that the sale would allow it to build a strong capital structure and promised to continue investing in renewable energy.
