Carlos Martins to acquire the remaining stake in Alpargatas S.A.I.C. for $64m.

Brazilian entrepreneur Carlos Wizard Martins agreed to acquire the remaining 78.2% stake in Alpargatas S.A.I.C., a manufacturer and retailer of clothes and textiles for $64m. Martins previously bought a 21.8% stake in Alpargatas S.A.I.C. unit that controls Topper globally in 2018 and held the right to obtain the remaining stake.
