CPE completed the acquisition of EAI and GHESA from Iberdrola, Naturgy and Tecnicas Reunidas for £67m.

China Energy Engineering Group, a provider of energy infrastructure construction services, completed the acquisition of Empresarios Agrupados, a construction engineering company, and GHESA, a provider of engineering and technology services, from Iberdrola, a Spanish multinational electric utility company, Naturgy, a natural gas and electrical energy utilities company, and Tecnicas Reunidas, an engineering and construction company, for £67m ($90m). This acquisition is an important step for CPE in accelerating the internationalization and becoming a world-class multinational engineering company based on the concept of “Technology, Innovation, Platform, Diversification and Internationalization” and has a significant implication on realizing the company's medium- and long-term development strategy.
