Remondis to acquire European recycling operations of Sims Metal for $92m.

Remondis, a provider of recycling and water resource management, through its subsidiary TSR Recycling, agreed to acquire European recycling operations of Sims Metal Management, a metals and electronics recycling company, for $91.9m. The acquisition covers activities in Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden. However, the deal excludes the group's IT asset disposal activities in these countries.
