Synopsis
Terracom, a resource company with a large portfolio of assets in Mongolia and Queensland, Australia, offered to acquire remaining shares in Universal Coal, which is engaged in coal mining, coal beneficiation, and mineral exploration and development of coal interests in South Africa, at a $120m valuation. "The offer will allow both companies to continue to run successful coal operations with the improved benefit of geographic diversity and an expanded production footprint," TerraCom.
