AK Medical completed the acquisition of Beijing Libeier Bio-engineering Institute for $40m.

AK Medical, a company principally engaged in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of orthopedic implants, completed the acquisition of Beijing Libeier Bio-engineering Institute, a biotechnology specialist, for $40m. With this deal, AK Medical is further broadening the product line of the its orthopedic business for the development as an orthopedic platform company.
