Marathon Group, a diversified investment company, and Agronova JSC, an agricultural company, completed the acquisition of a 49.99% stake in Demetra Holding, a Russain infrastructure holding company, from VTB Bank, a global provider of financial services, for $1bn. Financial terms were not disclosed.
