Sequoia Capital led a $600m Series F round for Robinhood, a US-based financial services company, at an $8.6bn valuation. NEA, Ribbit Capital, 9Yards Capital, Unusual Ventures, IVP and TSG Consumer Partners also participated in the funding round. “Robinhood has made the financial markets accessible to the masses, and in turn, revolutionized the decades-old brokerage industry.
