Irving Oil, a company that refines and distributes crude oil, terminated the acquisition agreement of North Atlantic Refinery, a firm that refines and markets fuels and other petrochemical products. Financial terms were not disclosed. Irving walked away from the purchase and share agreement shortly before it was set to close in mid-October.
