Greenlea Premier Meats, Wilson Hellaby and Glendenburg Holdings completed the acquisition of Wallace Group.

Greenlea Premier Meats, a family-owned and operated beef processing company, Wilson Hellaby, a privately owned meat processor, and Glendenburg Holdings, a firm focused on rendering operations including the marketing of meal and tallow products, completed the acquisition of Wallace Group. Financial terms were not disclosed. “It is great to be ensuring existing employment, creating new jobs and supporting the local community during this difficult economic period. There will be approximately 100 staff employed across all business activities at the Waitoa, Feilding and Northland sites. The three partners share in a vision to grow jobs and the value of production for NZ exports and domestic requirements,” Tony Egan, Greenlea Managing Director.
