Ningbo Shanshan to acquire LCD polarizer business of LG Chem for $1.1bn.

Ningbo Shanshan, a manufacturer of lithium battery materials, agreed to acquire LCD polarizer business of LG Chem, a Korean chemicals and battery manufacturer for $1.1bn. “We are going to focus on strengthening our competitiveness in tech materials, especially organic light-emitting diode and nurture our OLED polarizer business,” LG Chem.
