Blackbird Ventures led a $60m funding round in Canva, the design platform for non-designers, with participation from investors like Bond, General Catalyst, Sequoia Capital China and Felicis Ventures. Canva cofounder and COO Cliff Obrecht said despite the economic downturn as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the company continues to see a significant increase in user activity.
